If only the Clintons plotted for other Democrats

Listening to continuing discussion about Hillary Clinton's endless efforts to get the Florida and Michigan delegates counted, I started wondering. Everyone gives the Clintons credit for never giving up and for exploiting every last angle they can find or make up. If Bill was the "come back kid," maybe Hillary is the "whack a mole."

What I'm wondering today is how the 2000 and 2004 elections would have turned out if the Clintons had applied their deviousness to the results. What if they had brainstormed with Al Gore on how to handle the Florida recount and the Supreme Court? What if they had helped John Kerry challenge the Ohio votes? I'm not saying Gore and Kerry were incompetent—I'm saying the Clintons keep trying long after they've lost their support and they come up with more ends-justify-the-means tricks than anyone else. I can't help thinking the final results could have been different if they had volunteered their help.
