I'm not offended--why is Hillary?

We all know what "pimping" meant originally, but it's been used to mean "exploiting" for a long time now. It's a perfectly acceptable word for a commentator to use to describe a pair of politicians using their daughter to campaign for one of them. (The commentator is entitled to his opinion that Chelsea Clinton is being exploited; my opinion is that she's working for her mother voluntarily.)

I'm disgusted by Hillary Clinton's outrage, whether it's genuine or cynically aimed at getting attention or sympathy. What a stupid thing to magnify.

Words like "suck" and "screw" have become common and harmless to most people. In fact, they work well to express precise meanings, and I have a hard time thinking of more acceptable words to use instead. When I used the heading "It sucks to be sick" in December, I tried to think of a better way to express the idea and didn't come up with anything. The only word I can think of to replace "screw" would be "shaft" or would begin with "f."

Seriously, do we want to elect a president who is so sensitive she won't appear on a news channel or participate in a political debate because a commentator used a commonly used and accepted slang word regarding her daughter? What if a foreign leader does it without realizing it?

Boy, I am with you on this!

The Clintons have "perfected" playing the victim to get their way.

I really have no time of day for people like that.
