A heroic young woman
I am amazed at all the details provided by the young woman who was raped near UNR in December. (If you go to the link, scroll down and look on the right hand side. KTVN reported even more graphic details than those posted at RGJ.com, but I don't see the story on its site yet.) Actually, the details are so intimate you can't ignore the fact they were observed during a rape. They hammer home the horror of the crimes and the criminal committing them.
This young woman, in the midst of an unthinkable situation, did what every crime victim is advised to do: observe and remember every detail to use in catching the perpetrator. Because of her strength and her presence of mind, the community has a much better chance of rescuing Brianna Denison now.
I am praying the unidentified woman is recovering from her attack and her details will bring Brianna home.
Please, women in the UNR area: BE CAREFUL!
